IMPORTANT *2020* Cool Yule Updates

Whether you’ve been coming to Cool Yule for years or this is your first time joining us, things will look a little different this year. The health & safety of every family attending this year’s event is our #1 priority. Because of that, we’d like to outline how we are adapting our yearly holiday tradition to meet the current moment.

 

LOCATION

The NEW Silver Orchid Studio.

This year’s event will be held at the new Silver Orchid Photography studio in Skippack Village, PA. All weekday sessions will be held inside the studio – one family at a time! On the weekends, we will be hosting the holiday magic inside the studio and on the studio grounds – offering both indoor & outdoor set options.

 

EVENT SIZE

No Crowds.

No lines. No antsy kids. Just beautiful holiday photos. Social distance is the name of the game this year at Cool Yule. All sessions will include additional time to allow you & your family to enter/exit the session area and avoid any close contact with other families. We are also limiting the number of families that will be on the premise at any given time to keep the event intimate & safe.

 

Max # Families on site per hour: 12

Weekdays AND Weekends.

This year you will have 14 session days to choose from! We are offering weekday and weekend session times to give maximum flexibility for our Silver Orchid families who are juggling the “work from home” AND “virtual learning” life this year! 

 

LONGER SESSION TIMES

More time for magical moments.

This will give you & your family plenty of time to get into the studio, take off the winter jackets, and get comfortable in front of the camera. This will also give our team plenty of time to thoroughly clean between each session.

 

SANTA

Visiting from a Distance.

Santa is still flying in for Cool Yule 2020! This year, Santa will be visiting from a distance as part of the Little Blue Tree Farm Truck set. Kids, still bring your wish list to read to Santa. You’ll be able to visit with Santa and capture those special Christmas moments with the kiddos!

 

OUTDOOR

Winter Wonderland.

Back by popular demand, our Winter Wonderland scene this year will be like no other! The Silver Orchid elves are hard at work designing a magical winter outdoor experience for you & your family.

 

BYOP

Bring Your Own Props.

Have a Christmas toy or blankie the kids bring out every year for the holidays? Want to capture the kiddos reading THEIR OWN, favorite Christmas book? This year, you can! To ensure maximum cleanliness at every session, we are asking you to BRING YOUR OWN props. Make the photos your own this year with those special Christmas items.

 

IMPORTANT

Like everyone, we are adapting our standard practices to make sure you & your family are safe & healthy when you are in our hands. Here is what we are doing to keep you safe:

• All staff & adults (when not being photographed) are required to wear masks
• Handwashing stations will be available at the entrance and exit of sessions
• All sessions areas will be sterilized between sessions
• All family members and staff will stay home and not attend if they feel sick
• Immediate family members only
• Longer session times (15 min sessions)
• One family at a time in the studio
• Social distance markers for families waiting at outdoor session areas
