I am so thankful that the Davies Family chose me to document their family. Emma, who is just a year old, and her family are fighting a brave fight together. Emma has a rare condition called Severe Congenital Neutropenia. Her particular condition is so rare that it occurs in only 2 out of a million people. Miraculously, her big sister, Lilly is a donor match for Emma’s necessary bone marrow transplant. Last month, Emma began intense Chemo therapy in preparation for her transplant. Once the transplant is complete, Emma will remain at CHOP for up to 8 additional weeks followed by weekly visits to CHOP for another 52 weeks.
