I’ve been sitting on this news forever, mostly because it all kind of just fell in my lap and also because the craziness of my Spring schedule held me up in the announcement!! I am so excited to share that Silver Orchid has a new office space!  Its funny how sometimes the best laid plans aren’t actually plans at all.  I met the owner of this beautiful property through a mutual friend back in January.   Our initial meeting was to discuss joint ventures with the farm and I left with a potting shed-turned office.  It’s a sweet little space to meet clients, and in the fall when all 4 kids go to school (wahh …. but yay)  I will start working there more regularly.  The bonus to all of this is that I am booking portrait sessions on the property  starting last month haha!  I will be sharing some of the amazing sessions that I’ve done there already as soon as I can!  Its a majestic 40 acre farm complete with ponds, barns, farm animals, horse filled pastures and stunning sunsets.  It really is a little piece of heaven just a few miles from my studio!  Can’t wait to see where this takes me.

Shout out to Ed Goltz for painting and  turning all of my Vintage Inc finds into pure repurposed beauty (light fixtures, tin wall, desk and most of the items on the shelves all come from there:)

 

My office views are way better than yours….horses, farm cats, pigs, a crazy farm dog name Wrangler, sheep, ducks….the list grows on the daily ha.
