Sitting Fees and Studio Policies
- Full Sessions require a 50% non refundable deposit and is due at the time of booking. This is non refundable, but can be used towards a rescheduled session. Mini & Petite Sessions are due in full at booking.
- The balance is due the day of your session.
- Preferred payments for balance is by cash or check.
- Travel to on-location sessions may incur an added charge.
Mini session and Event Policies
Each mini session event has its own session parameters (who the events is geared and built for, how many people it can accomodate, etc.). Please contact support@silverorchidphotograpy.com if you are unsure of the details of the event you are booking.
Information to read before booking your Mini session:
- Silver Orchid Photography defines subjects as people & pets. Pets are not allowed at all sessions, please confirm that your session is pet friendly prior to booking.
- Mini sessions are NOT geared towards large families, extended families, or large groups unless noted. We suggest booking two slots for larger groups or booking a signature session which will allow more time . *Some sessions ARE NOT GEARED TOWARD OR SET UP FOR FAMILIES, if you are unsure, please contact support@silverorchidphotograpy.com to confirm.
Cancellation policy
ALL deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable*. If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session time. You can cancel your session by going to your confirmation email.
*Although deposits are non-refundable, it is possible to transfer to another session ONLY WHEN THERE ARE ADDITIONAL DATES AVAILABLE FOR YOUR BOOKING OR you can go to the Silver Orchid Photography Community Page on Facebook to make arrangements to have another family take your session.
No-Show Policy
All no-shows will be billed the remaining balance for any missed session(s).
We do not allow for full outfit changes for mini sessions. Quick swaps are acceptable but will cut into shooting time.
RAIN/INCLEMENT Weather
We will provide an alternate rain date if necessary. We generally do not cancel unless it is a 80% chance or above. We will be in contact the day before the session if the weather will impact your session.
Deliverables
Image galleries will be delivered within 2 weeks of your session date.
The only guarantee for mini sessions is 5-7 images however we often over deliver final edited galleries. Please remember, though, there is no set, promised, or guarantee number above 5-7 images and this number is decided upon at your photographers discretion.
