What should I expect?
All Garden Party sessions are scheduled for 10 minutes (plenty of time for individual and family photos). Please arrive 15-20 minutes early and check in with the front desk when you arrive.
10 minute sessions? How is this possible?
You would be amazed at what our photographers can accomplish in just a few minutes. My team aims for a smile, but we most definitely capture all the in-between candid moments…because really, those are the ones that will tug at your heart-strings in years to come. If you have a shy or uncooperative child, don’t worry we will try our best, but we will also leave time for you to come back if it is becoming impossible.
Are the sets designed to fit adults too?
All the sets can accommodate adults. Please just keep in mind the length of the sessions, how long it takes your child to warm up etc.
What Time is my session? How can I change my session?
You received an email confirmation when you booked your session. You can find all confirmation and cancellation information there. If you need to reschedule please email support@silverorchidphotography.com.
What is your cancellation policy?
All session deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another session ONLY if requested 48 hours before your session time. If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session time. You can cancel your session by going to your confirmation email.
Where is my session located?
Garden Party Easter sessions on 3/20 and 3/21 will be held at The Silver Orchid studio. The address is 4039 Skippack Pike, Unit #2 Skippack PA. Here is the link to google maps. It can be easy to miss it, just look for the Hotel Fiesole, the studio is right across the street. Garden Party at Highlands Mansion on 4/10 will be held at, well Highlands Mansion. Parking?
There is plenty of parking at both venues, please drive slowly in the parking area as there will be kiddos galore…and we all know how much they pay attention;)
What’s the cost and what is included?
Ticket cost $150 and includes your session time and ALL of the digital images. Galleries are typically 5-10 images but may be more or less, depending on your family size, kid patience etc haha!
**Ticket Cost is per family (up to 6). If you have a larger family or want to combine families, please purchase an additional ticket and back to back time slots. If you arrive with a larger group we will only be able to accomodate if there is time for the added session time.
Can I bring extended families for sessions?

How can I pay?
A $50 non refundable deposit is due at booking and you can pay with a credit card. The balance is due on the day of the event and is CASH ONLY.
Are Sessions indoor or outdoor?
Easter sessions on 3/20 and 3/21 are indoor at the studio. Garden Party at Highlands will all be outdoor.
I have an outdoor session scheduled, what if it’s raining or freezing?
There is a great backup plan for outside and coverage will be provided!! Dress your kids appropriately for the weather and incorporate some cute outerwear if you are worried about the cold affecting their happiness hahaha!!

When will I receive the gallery?
Be mindful, Silver Orchid delivers fully edited, color corrected, vibrant, high resolution works of art. You will receive your images 2 weeks FROM YOUR SCHEDULED DATE,
Can I bring my own props?
YES! Actually we encourage you to bring things along that are special to your kids. In order to keep things safe and clean for your kiddos I am encouraging BYOP. Don’t worry, the sets are all curated beautifully for you, just bring things along that are personal and special to your kids that might make the session time more fun and comfortable for them! Will there be somewhere to change?
Due to the covid related restrictions, there will be no changing area.
