So you are working on planning a senior session – one of the biggest questions is, where should the pictures be taken?
Here are a couple of things to consider when picking a location:
What does your senior want their portraits to say about them? The location can help visually embrace who they are. Artist? Adventure-lover? Musician? Country-girl?
Do they like the urban or outdoorsy look? Studio or on location? What do they like to do for fun? These are all great places to start.
Keep in mind you can pick more than one location….
Pick a location that is meaningful to your senior. Maybe they have a favorite hang out spot filled with happy memories and laughter? Perhaps an ice cream shop or a roller skating rink? Maybe the coffee shop they would study at every week? Or a family member’s house?
Consider their school campus. What better way to celebrate their graduation than where they have all their high school memories? Or perhaps the college campus they will be headed off to next year.
Think outside the box! Have a crazy idea? Shoot it to me, and let’s see if we can make it work! Don’t be afraid to get creative!
If your senior doesn’t have a preference, or you are feeling stumped, no worries! I can send you a link to some of my favorite places!
